good news!

Here I am again!

For the first time in our lives, J and I have our very own paid-for internet, and (after some fusses and delays) it arrived today! So after several bone-dry weeks of frantic trips to campus and WiFi hotspots, I'm again sitting on my own couch with my own laptop flinging some love out to the world.

Oh, the increased distractions. I need to keep working on self discipline.

In other news, NO, we didn't go Grant Park on Tuesday night, but YES, we listened on the radio.
I'm listening to the live opera on the radio.
It's sort of spitting rain-like snow.
