seeing: the patterns of clouds and sunshine chasing each other across the valley--right now the light is that dim, blue-grey promise of rain
hearing: this album by these guys
smelling: the coffee Josh made before I was awake, and left for me; the ginger-peach green tea in my mid-morning mug
tasting: homemade granola; coffee and tea; in a while, salad with feta cheese
feeling: a little headachy (blame the barometer), but also glad for the quiet, for the tree branches, for the birds, for the promise of a full weekend
