smelling: delicious roasted vegetables made by someone else; paperback glue and ink; mandarin oranges
tasting: said oranges; cereal from the States; beet borscht and homemade bread; tonight: pizza, oh, pizza
feeling: the wonder of thick socks and heavy blankets; like there is enough to go around
